Tips for holding a successful yard sale or garage
sale (before you
move)
1. Accumulate everything you plan to sell
in one location as you go through your possessions deciding
which to sell, toss, or keep and pack.
2. Clean and polish each item. You'll be
able to price your items higher and make more money. Why
sell a crumby, grimy toaster for $2 when a polished one
might sell for $5 or $6?
3. Consider holding your yard sale at
your NEW location. Yes, I know it means transporting
everything, but it's a perfect way to introduce yourself to
your new neighbors and get to know everyone quickly.
